The Forbidden City
Bulit in 1406, the Forbidden City was once the residence
and the centre of the government for 24 emperors form the Ming and the Qing
Dynasties. In addition to boasting an amazing number of ancient buildings, this
place is also home to hundreds of thousands of artifacts from various eras.
