Lady
Diana
Ok my friends, today i'd like to tell you about Lady Diana. Yay!
I think, all people know her. She is Princess
of Wales. Her complete name is Diana Frances. She was born at 1
July 1961 in Park
House, Sandringham,
Norfolk,
England. Her father’s name is Edward
John Spencer and
her mother’s name is Frances, Viscountess Althorp.
Diana has a background
of royal and noble families. After his parents divorce, Diana was raised by his father. With his death next to his father, Albert Spencer in 1975, Diana's father became the 8th Earl Spencer and Diana given the title of Lady Diana Spencer and moved home when he was still a child at Park House to house their large family at Althorp. A year later, his father married with Raine, Countess of Dartmouth, daughter of romantic novelist Barbara Cartland.
Diana received her education at Riddles worth Hall in Norfolk and at West Heath Girls' School, Sevenoaks, Kent, where she was regarded as an underachieving student. Diana also has failed in O-level examinations. In 1977, when aged 16 years, Diana left West Heath school to study at the Institut Alpin Videmanette in Switzerland, a school culture that emphasizes education and provide for students
social activities. There is also, Diana has become acquainted with her future husband who at that time was out with her sister, Lady Sarah. Although Diana is not brilliant in terms of academic, she has great ability in sports and was a good amateur singer. Lady Diana
also excelled in swimming and diving, and longed to be a professional ballerina
with the Royal Ballet. She studied ballet for a time, but then she grew too
tall for the profession.
The Prince of Wales had known Lady
Diana for several years, but he first took a serious interest in her as a
potential bride during the summer of 1980, when they were guests at a country
weekend, where she watched him play polo. Twenty-year-old Diana became The
Princess of Wales when she married The Prince of Wales on 29 July 1981 at St
Paul's Cathedral, which offered more seating than Westminster Abbey, generally
used for royal nuptials. It was widely billed as a "fairytale
wedding", watched by a global television audience of 750 million while
600,000 people lined the streets to catch a glimpse of Diana en route to the
ceremony. Diana wore a dress valued at £9000 with a 25-foot (8-metre) train.
From her marriage to Prince Charles, Lady Diana have two
children, they are Prince William of Wales
and Prince Harry
of Wales. Unfortunately, Lady Diana and Prince Charles
divorced in 1996. On August 31, 1997 Diana
died in a car accident on the road driven by the
Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris along with Dodi
Al-Fayed and
driver Henri Paul. They shy away from the
pursuing paparazzi photographers.
Then the funeral was
held on September 6, 1997 and
was broadcast live around the world,
watched by over 1.5
billion viewers worldwide.
